As hard as we are trying, COVID is clearly proving to be far more infectious and deadly than the flu. As in 10 to 100 times more infectious.

If we had no masks, or social distancing, COVID cases would *easily* be one order of magnitude greater, possibly two. In other words, every single person in the USA would be infected. Hospitals would be telling people to stay home and die. Death rates per infection would also be dramatically higher due to lack of ICUs.

Flattening the curve has worked to a large degree. Everyone who has SD'd and mask'd has helped prevent a disaster of unimaginable scale.
