Related: About this forumLincoln Project: Rick Wilson denounces John Weaver.
Sometimes it is assumed that the hard men and women of politics must have the hardest hearts. Not so. The hard man, the enforcer of the Kennedy campaign in 1960 was RFK.
I have heard Rick Wilson speak emotionally before - about the kids in cages, about Roy Moore, about George Floyd. Rick is a showman, an entertainer, a provocateur, but I have no reason to believe that he's anything less than 100% sincere.

(86,589 posts)I suspect they intend to proceed without mercy in destroying the cabal cult, that includes pedophiles, which seem to be numerous in the cult. I am thankful they are using their powerful voices to do the right thing. We need more of that right now.

Let's hope it doesn't detract from all the good work The Lincoln Project did. I know Junior and Eric and their press guys were having a ball pushing the Weaver story last week.

(7,263 posts)I understand that we can never truly know what is in the secret heart of our fellow homo sapiens.
And I understand the shame that Rick and all on TLP team are feeling, between a rock and a hard place.
If one feels they knew, they will be tarred forever with the shame of complicity, and TLP is DOA in your mind.
If one feels they didn't know (like me) - they will still wear a hair shirt and blame themselves for not knowing.
Due to Weaver's despicable actions, this will be their, and my, cross to bear.
Solidarity, TLP
