Meet Dan Sheekoz, my newest favorite Russian YouTuber

Of course, Taras Kul, aka CrazyRussianHacker, is my first favorite Russian YouTuber, but Taras lives in the US (NC) while Dan still lives in Russia (southern Russia, near Georgia and The Caucauses mountains, just north of the Black Sea).

He is a very humble guy, just making videos about his life in small town Russia. He's been building his own house for over a decade, and he is quite amazing at it! I know I would love living in that house, as many Americans would--it is huge and wonderful. He likes to show us price comparisons between Russia and the US, taking us to shops and restaurants.

1. Love the grocery video! I'm very surprised at how similar it is to

a small US Target store.

I met several people from Georgia on a work trip. They all said Georgian cooking is the best in the world !

4. Deflated

He was my favorite Russian vlogger until I watched the YouTube of his birthday celebrations. Turns out he is a big fan of Donald Trump “I wish he was my president”, and is vehemently anti-vax. Doesn’t mean you can’t like him, and I suppose he is only reacting to the local media - although he likes to stress that he has no tv.
I’m still on the fence about Roman from the NFKRZ channel.

5. He's gone off the deep end

I decided to give him one more chance - he did a livestream today (31 Oct) and he spent it railing against the vaccine, claiming no one has died from Covid, they all died from the vaccine!!!! Then he said he was going to come to the US via Mexico because that is the easiest way to get in. Sorry I unsubscribed and am completely finished with this tool.
