1. They are not concerned about governing for the people

They are concerned with power, their financial interests and that of big corporations. They will do whatever it takes to accomplish their goals. Lying, gaslighting, cheating are all part of their plan.


If they had to compete with democrats solely on policy issues, they would not amass the power they want.

The original meaning of "progressive" philosophy is the belief that humanity and society can progress to more perfect states, whereas the essence of "conservative" philosophy is that humanity is hopelessly evil and that society is forever sliding downhill, and the only thing that keeps society from self-destructing is the fear of God and authoritarian leaders.
