Senator Sanders asks impeachment lawyers if Trump won 2020 election

Impeachment managers and former President Donald Trump's defense team are asked whether or not they believe Trump's claim that the 2020 election was rigged against him and that he actually won.

4. The question could have been phrased better.

It did give the Trump lawyer a way to weasel out.

"Is it the official position of former president Trump and his defense that he did not lose the election"?

or 'Was then president Trump knowingly lying when he said the election was stolen"?

I'm not a lawyer but there has to be a form of the question that shoe horns them into an answer.
