We've had nothing but Reaganomics for the last 6 presidents. It never went away. That's why our wealth gap is so huge.

But I really hope Biden and the elected Democrats in congress can push for at least a 50% top tax rate.

as a university student.

And to a certain degree the arguments make sense on a prima facia level. Therein lies our challenge, I think. We need to make a better case for liberalism, because, in the end, liberalism is better.

don't just move to someplace without one.

8. They are rich because of the middle class.

They eliminate it at their peril.

9. They can get rid of it in the USA without peril so long as it still grows around the world.

Gutting the middle class, leaving no landing pad for less than ferocious capitalist to reside, will make not being rich a terror in the USA. Ladders will be pulled up. Corruption will ensue. The rich will not be taxed at all and the poor will not be able to muster the power to change things.
