(19,952 posts)HR1 and John Lewis Voting Rights Act through. Norm Ornstein thinks it may be possible to get it through under Budget Reconciliation. Regardless, I think this should be the next big Bill they go for after the Covid Relief Bill. It's too important not to.

(205,161 posts)I don't know why HBO persists in leaving certain parts out (same with Bill Maher) and most of John Oliver's funniest bits are right at the beginning.

(26,614 posts)I think the virus has affected his thought process.. giving a spot to scientist who are "99% sure" the virus came from the lab. Bill should watch this show.
I usually give Bill the benefit of the doubt.. right more than he's wrong. But, lately he's made some really stupid remarks and observations. I did like last week, especially Steve Schmidt, who I didn't trust for a long time. Now I think I'm falling in love with him.

(295 posts)Mother Nature is exacting her revenge. She has been more than patient, but unless we get on board with Her program, we are so screwed. There is so much to unfuck. I know the Greatest Journey begins with one step, but we got a LOT of steps to take right now - like out-of-the-blocks full sprint now, so yeah fuck the filibuster and McConnell and the rest of those shit for brains, 'cause they really need to get out of the way. Otherwise we're doomed.
And now I'm thinking about moving to the Great White North (Mackenzie Bro's Forevah!), and I absolutely hate being cold.

(111,237 posts)1 bullion of us or so wasn't a hge problem, especially with diseases cutting down breeding success and raging through crowded populations every two to three decades.
7.6 billion of us counts as an infestation, especially when the rest of the biosphere is being damaged.

(205,161 posts)But I've been trying to keep track, this really is a show like no other and is certainly popular on DU. And I double checked since so much is in repeats this week, but he's back this coming Sunday, this was the start of a new season.
