I got to see her in concert in the Netherlands a good few years ago. Great show!

2. I got to see her years ago when she performed here in Northeastern New York

And I didn't just see her performance, I actually met up with her in person! I met up with a group of friends in the lobby of a local hotel just before the concert and apparently Bonnie Raitt was staying there since she walked right by us. I don't know what possessed me, but I asked her for an autograph. She was obviously in a hurry, but she stopped and gave me one, nice lady. And what struck me about her is what a tiny person she is - considering all her musical power. And during the concert she called her Dad up on stage with her, he was apparently performing close enough to have visited her and he'd left his coat in her room, so she needed to give it back to him.

And I'm not a big person, about 5' 5", and I towered over her, my impression was that she was quite tiny. But she obviously has a very large presence.
