8. Limbaugh called himself a highly skilled broadcaster, but he was far from it

His show was one-sided by necessity since he had no real debating skills. Rush was the type of host that relied on call screening and the ability to dump out of any situation where he was being challenged. I used to listen regularly so as to be one step ahead of my Rush- loving brother. In all the years listening I never once heard him successfully debate, or make his point with anyone that disagreed with him. During the rare times when he would take a call from someone challenging him, his method was always to turn down the person's audio, talk over the person, avoid answering their questions and then dump out to a commercial break. His only real skill was in reinforcing a liked-minded audience to hate "liberals" and Democrats. Outside of that, his show's content did very little to inform or enrich. Sorry if it seems like I'm talking ill of the dead right now, but this was all true way before he passed. Too bad he never saw how much he was ruining and dividing this country.

was an old .wav site that had clips of him whenever a liberal would get through his call screeners because gibbering was all he was ever capable of when someone disagreed with him.

He was truly foul. I am delighted to have outlived him.
