Beto O'Rourke: Texas Volunteers 'Doing The Job The Government Should Do' - The Last Word - MSNBC

Former Texas Rep. Beto O’Rourke and other Democrats have raised millions in relief for Texans suffering from the devastating winter storm. He joins Lawrence O’Donnell to discuss those relief efforts and how the lack of help from Republican leaders shows that Texans must “put people in positions of power who actually care for those that they represent and swear that they serve.” Aired on 02/22/2021.

... to whit, that the private sector can be trusted to handle problems like these, so the government should butt out.

Mr O'Rourke may think he has made a devastating indictment of GOP-lead government, but all he is doing is confirming their bias.
