Which will make a difference in 2022 voting ONLY IF we are in formation in stopping state level voter suppression.

In 2 years guess which party is going to be able to take 100% of the credit for this bill? And which party gets 100% of the blame for opposing it? How does that win them any votes in 2 years?

put another way, the projected costs of essential public policy initiatives is secondary to the public perception of need for those policy initiatives.

This calculus must be unsettling to the Grover Norquist class of so-called "fiscal conservatives" and "deficit hawks" who would otherwise thwart all public policy initiatives for the common good in exchange for the hoax of "trickle down."

Damned near half this country's electorate has guzzled the koolaid of this hoax--culminating in the election of a con artist--and is no better for it.

Fuck them ALL. It's WELL PAST TIME to call the bluff on this charade and slap these damned fools back into reality. I'm sure as hell glad that Rush Limbaugh is out of the way.

GO BOLD, Joe. And let's deep-6 the filibuster. Screw the "minority." The GOP was not hesitant to discard tradition and manipulate the machinery of our government to achieve their ends.

Sometimes the means justify the ends--especially when the ends are just and righteous to the many, not merely the few.

Spock...hear me?

need to be asked to explain their logic.

Answers like:

'Trump would not like it.'
'It is bad for the economy.'

Need to be shot down in flames.

Not sure why that seems so hard for some to understand (the ignorance is willful, in my opinion). He was never talking about uniting Congress.
