Bernie: Walmart Can Afford to Pay Their Workers a Living Wage.

The owners of Walmart, the Walton Family, are the richest family in the country. They're worth $200 billion. They currently pay at least HALF their workers less than $15 an hour. That is absurd. The richest family in America can afford to pay their workers a living wage.

Why should we have a record number of millionaires and billionaires, when most people can’t scrape by?

Wouldn’t take much to raise to 15 dollars at all.

3. We need more labor unions! Screw the 1%

When unions are weak, the highest incomes like the Walton’s go up even more, but when unions are strong, middle incomes go up. A strong middle class built America.
