They must be so proud. Then again, they voted for Lindsey so maybe they can’t.

13. You're hitting up to a very profound reality. I will try to explain in an anecdotal narration:

When I was in high school I worked at a sand mine in the summer. The task we were working on required that someone get into the dredge pond and use a wrench, while treading water, to tighten a turnbuckle which positioned the pump barge. A new employee refused to do that saying he wasn't a strong swimmer. For me at 16, a chance to go swimming in the hot summer and get paid for it was a win/win, so I did it. The owner's son, my contemporary, remarked that the guy who wouldn't do the work was paid more than I. Implying that he was wrong in his judgement and it was his responsibility to do the task. The guy overheard it and responded that he wasn't paid enough to drown. One of the other guys, about 60 yrs old I'd guess, threw in with this, "we don't make much money and the employer doesn't care about us much so we just steal in order to break even". The next day we couldn't find the wrench we'd used, a typical circumstance which usually ended up leaving the crew idle for a couple of hours while the owner went to buy a new one. The older guy explained under his breath that "it only brought $5.00" at the hock shop.

Selling workers short is ALWAYS a losing proposition. It's a culture thing. From my experience, South Carolinian employers embrace such a culture. Lindsay speaks for his supporters with words which they'd approve.

8. I think it can be easily inferred from the answer of the CEO that $11 is better than $7 but

that $11 is still not enough. That is what I got from his answer.

I wish these people would tell Graham when he interrupts "You asked me a question, are you going to allow me to answer it?"

People tend to behave too well during these interrogations, mostly when they are aired on TV, they need to be able to call assholes like Graham off when it merits to do so.

The CEO of Costco doesn't vote on legislation. He already pays 30% higher entry level wages than the $11/hr the senators from two of the poorest states thinks is too much for the little people. Asking him if he supports paying people $10,000 per year less than he already pays his people is really stupid.

2021 = $11.50
2022 = $12.25
2023 = $13.50
2024 = $14.25
2025 = $15.00

What would Minimum wage be if it had increased 2% a year since 2009 and $7.25? Maybe someone's said. More math than I can do accurately...)

If they have the info, you will get information when you open a website.

Because I have it, I have learned that other 100 % companies are:
Estee Lauder (all of their many brands) and Etsy. There are others but these are the ones which stuck on my brain
