Words do have power sometimes. In the mean’s of propaganda, it works. Ever since the pandemic materialize the political Right wanted to monopolized the narrative. The term “Lock down” only occurs during a prison riot or during a school shooting. The true term is the phrase “Shelter in place”. It is voluntary to stay home. Unless you are under house arrest as ordered by a judge there are bars on your window or a prison guard by your door. You come and go as you like.
The political right likes to engage in hyperbola and make it sound you are in North Korea or Iran. No! It’s about the 1% losing a chip off their massive profits. It’s like God created a general strike. At any rate… I wrote a song about it. Here it is.
