(2,868 posts)It was "Iranian ballistic missile attack" and "Iranian missile attack", over and over again, until they finally got around to mentioning it was a RETALIATORY RESPONSE for Donnie illegally ASSASSINATING a high-level Iranian government official on foreign soil who was on an official diplomatic mission as an envoy between Iraq and Iran.
Furthermore, after the initial illegal attack, Donnie was warning Iran they better not retaliate. They did. Then Khamenei sent a message to Donnie via Jordan, that if he launched any further military strikes, Iran would set the entire Middle East on fire. Donnie climbed down and shut-up.

(205,051 posts)And I did add "2020" on the description for the second video since that was left off. I agree that they should have led with the fact that this was the result of Trump's irresponsible actions. They did say that President Biden "inherited" this issue, but they should have been more specific. Thanks for spelling it out!
complaining about you, but the way 60 Min presented it.

(6,178 posts)... benefits 20-30 years from now like the Vietnam vets continue to fight for Agent Orange injuries.
And that is before we have to face injuries due to depleted uranium illness for all of the ground troops starting with Desert Storm.

(14,124 posts)Mild Traumatic Brain Injury, hearing loss, PTSD.
He received 10% disability for the hearing loss right after he came home. He just received (as of January 15th) 50% disability for his PTSD. It took 15 years. He still doesn't get anything for the TBI because it's invisible.
Aa for medical care, they treated him with Klonopin and Seroquel. He got off that stuff fast, on his own.

(6,265 posts)trump/stephen miller engineered maladministration of American military power that got American military personnel killed needlessly. And I am not saying that the reason for the retaliation rocket attack was innocent, just that there were other ways to take care of that Iranian general. All trump was doing was trying to show what a cowardly bully can do with unlimited military power. And all it did was get American military personnel killed needlessly.
