Another great show, content-wise. The whole country should be watching these shows. Hugh_Lebowski Mar 2021 #1

Well, all adults.

It wasn't one of the funniest ones, but it was pertinent one.

He covers very important stuff most of the time in fact, stuff the the M$M won't touch.

But, as usual, he did a thorough and comprehensive report. Too bad that the news shows don't show clips, but they generally do that with the funny late night ones.

Remember during the Dubya era, the only way we got accurate information was from The Daily Show?

Jon Stewart. Dave Chappelle. Michael Che. - while labeled as "comedy", we somehow always get the gist when looking at an issue from the dark side of the moon.

When extra unemployment insurance was $600 a week last year, caretakers for disabled quit. Many workers got way more than they were making. Now, as day programs are struggling to reopen, it is very difficult to get workers. Schools and communities are struggling to find bus drivers. I am not saying that people should be forced to work, I’m saying that we need to pay them. We need to focus of the supports: childcare, a livable minimum wage, transportation. If we want less unemployment, we need to pay people.

We need to compensate people fairly for being front line workers - and these are essential jobs in any case, caring for vulnerable populations
