Why does a man like that continue to be so poisonous and evil and clearly cheat his way into another term as Senator (I have tons of friends and family in Kentucky and NONE of them believe he won fair and square) if he knows he doesn't have much time left? What is the point? He couldn't even remotely spend all the money he couldn't has in the time he has left, his children are all in their forties and set for life I'm sure (at least one is a liberal, as well). But what brought me to the tipping point was when he said districts keep electing the same people "because they're scared."

No. That's not why. they keep reelecting people because they believe the people they reelect are doing a good job. In some cases they are correct (Nancy Pelosi. Bernie Sanders.) In some cases they are wrong (Chuck Grassley. Doug Lamborn.) This talking head claims to believe the people should decide. Fine. If you really believe that, then stop trying to mess with their choices.

I you don't believe the people should decide, there is a case to be made for that. But it's not democracy, is it?
