We do not have true representative democracy in America. Whether it is gerrymandering in the House or the 2 per state and filibuster in the Senate what we have become is far from a representative democracy.

I had to google that and found that it's true that when turtles hibernate their source of oxygen is through their butt. The technical term is "cloacal respiration"!
