1. wait a minute

Next time one of these con artist start their bs make sure you have the knowledge of the states that raised their minimum wage and prospered. Then have the knowledge of all the low wage states that are hurting and using governmental assistance just to stay afloat.

2. There has never been a movement to roll back any minimum wage increase

after the first six months. Minimum wage increases boost the economy because economies work from the bottom up, not the top down.

Most of the malaise in this country is because rich men persuaded Reagan that there would be no inflation if poor men were paid a lot less money. We've been doing that for 40 years now and it hasn't worked, unless human misery was what you were looking for as a measure of success.

Democrats have finally started to realize that, at long last. It's just going to take time to overturn the failed ideas of Republicans.

Republicans will never get it. No matter how you rub their noses in data concerning things like the multiplier effect, they will still cling to the fallacy that economies work from the top down, that poor people are lazy and that's why they're poor, and unattainable ends justify unacceptable mans. It's who they are. It's why we have to defeat them.
