Imagine a scholar, or high school student working on a history project, 200 years hence (should this Republic survive) looking into the authoritarian and plutocratic Trump travesty coming upon this short video of how Trump and company compromised the truth in the midst of a lethal pandemic, compromised it by destroying the foundation of trust built up by scientists, especially epidemiologists at the CDC, for cold-blooded political reasons.

I have wondered so many times what history will make of this unprecedented and terrible time in this country. President Biden is wasting no time to reverse the mistakes and correct the lies to set things right and we're counting on the legal system to do the rest. We can finally have hope again in this country.
