Probably supported the voter ID laws that we going around a few years ago. I'm glad to see that they're rethinking things.

4. Are they really? I mean, it's not just their attempt to remain relevant?

Any time I see a pro-democratic add that pictures non-white people in far greater numbers than their actual population I am suspicious. It doesn't seem genuine. It's like they've bought in to an idea that they can dictate the arena wherein Black vs White issues should be settled, that they have some sort of pre-packaged final solution.

It's not really about white vs black in the Democratic party. The closest to that is that Democrats are most likely to understand and find abhorrent the disenfranchisement of black/brown people vs Republican's fear and hatred and see common advantage in elimination of the discord.

I'm afraid that non-committed whites will see this sort of media message as non-representative of their experience. Lincoln's "fool some of the people all of the time" concept seems appropriate.

Hey, just trying to be honest. So crucify me gently, okay?

8. I think perhaps this ad was specifically directed to the African American community

If not, I do see your point, especially in regards to changing any Republicans minds. In fact, all the racists in the party will see that ad and think...."Looks like Democrats want more blacks and Muslims to vote, We must stop them!"
That ad will energize mostly Republican white supremacists. Black folks don't have to be convinced by an ad of the fact that Rs are always trying to disenfranchise them.

6. Sure the crew is sh*tty but they developed some true hard hitting ads...

while the rest of the ads were weak and spineless.

I can give credit even to the jerks who apparently did not intend to be so effective. They just killed themselves off because they are all greedy f*cks and self-identify as such.

10. I saw an ad by Rep. Swallwell (D-CA) recently that surprised me quite a bit. Why? Because...

...it was the only ad by a Democrat that I have ever seen that has even come close to the gut-punch that Lincoln Project is consistently capable of.

So while I cheer on Swallwell, I also cheer on TLP, as I have from the beginning. They get it, and they always have, and they know who the enemies of our democratic-republic are.

It does not get more “relevant” than that.
