What a Gloomy Gus! Plus the date is wrong. According to YouTube, this was posted less than a week ago, but that can't be right! I mean, this has to be from the Orange Cretin's tenure, right? Sure, I know it'll take a few---maybe several---years to recover from the damage he caused, but, once we get back to pre-Trump politics-as-usual, everything will be wonderful again!

But our political situation has been effed up since the mid-90s

3. A lot of them want to come here from places like Honduras

where the Reagan people rewrote their constitution to turn them into a libertarian laboratory. Our drug war has enabled the rise of vicious drug gangs in producer countries. Services that would control this shit are largely unfunded as military and police are hopelessly corrupted by the big money flashed by the drug gangs.

People know if they come here, it's no paradise, but at least they won't be marked for death along with their families. That's the main reason driving the people massed at the border. We fucked up their countries by stupid policy decisions to the point they had to leave..

Open your eyes, we haven't been a bastion of freedom and opportunity for a very long time, if ever. Since the 80s, it's been all about looting the people to fatten the rich, we're a hollow shell of what we should be, bristling with more nukes than the rest of the world combined, guarding a rotten center.
