Former Vice President Al Gore served with Bill Clinton from 1993 to 2001, after serving as both a representative and senator from Tennessee. Since then, he founded the Climate Reality Project, won the Nobel Peace Prize, and wrote An Inconvenient Truth, which was later turned into a documentary. At a recent climate rally in Memphis, Gore was introduced as the father of the modern environmental movement. We talk to him about the climate crisis, environmental justice, voter suppression, the political will to make real change, and more.
