New Rule: Beware the Roaring 20's
If were going to have a new Roaring 20s, lets do it this time without the two things that made the last one suck: Prohibition and a Depression at the end of it.
Here's a "bootleg" version of the show which includes the entire interview with former CISA Director Christopher Krebs (5:53), panel discussion with Atlantic staff writer Caitlin Flanagan and NYT columnist/MSNBC contributor Bret Stephens (14:30), and complete New Rules (44:10). It won't last long, as usual:

(31,177 posts)during the months I don't subscribe to HBO your Friday night/Saturday morning Real Time posts are the first I look for on D.U.
Can't see the entire show, including the solar update. But I've wondered how much of Maher's wait had to do with local ordinances as much as state ordinances. He was quick to point the finger at the California but I believe counties and cities can be blamed for red tape more often than not. Just try to open a restaurant or remodel a building in San Francisco.
Tree Lady
(11,481 posts)When I mentioned it, she lives in Alamo Heights near San Antonio and because its where most of the rich live, (not my daughter she bought older house to get kids in best schools) she says it takes awhile to get permits there to as area is fussy. I would bet where Bill lives has all kinds of special rules so its not totally CA fault. I know people who have solar there.

(205,731 posts)Back in the day, we used to see "unofficial" videos of the show posted here with the warning they wouldn't last, so I started posting the "official" videos which may not be the entire show, but we know they'll still be there tomorrow, next week and next year. One change they made last week was not uploading the entire featured interview which is the reason I tried posting the "unofficial" version for as long as it lasts. I knew folks here would be interested in Chris Krebs.
As for Bill finally getting solar, despite complaining about it week after week, he didn't go into detail, just said he finally got it and he was pleased.
