Amazon Workers In The United States vs. Europe

Apr 6, 2021

Many Amazon workers do have a union—in Europe. But not (yet) in the United States. Here's what conditions look like for unionized workers in Europe vs. for workers in the United States.

Any numbers to go with that "increased", "better", "better" "ends" and that "X" in the chart? George II Apr 2021 #1

Quantifying these items would be more effective than using adjectives (I know it's not your video, though).

I didn't see any specifics about Europe.

As was demonstrated a week or two ago with regards to the New Zealand $20 min/hr that people were excited about compared to the quest for $15 min/hr in the US, it turned out that when incorporating the exchange rate between NZ$ and US$ and the difference in cost of living, $20 in New Zealand is only about $11 in the US.

$1.00 in NZ = $0.70 in US and the COL in New Zealand is 17% higher than the US.

So good, hard numbers would be helpful in comparing working conditions and compensation in different countries.
