its always based on a belief. They choose to believe without evidence; and when they are blatantly being conned. Its a lazy mind at work.

This is why presenting Trumpists with evidence--or the lack of--regarding the election outcome does nothing to change their minds. They believe in Trump. They do not believe the usually accepted credible people who have reviewed the evidence. The explanation? Press, attorneys, judges are all "in on it". Hence, the conspiracy. They are victims of circular reasoning.
We have a serious problem with the millions of people in this country who have lost any ability they might have once had to objectively look at information and come to conclusions as a result of rational thought.
