If you can make yourself believe in an invisible man that lives in the sky then believing that t**** is some sort of super genius that going to save them from a deep state global cabal of satanic pedophiles... well that's still got to be a stretch but you get the idea.
someone who believes in virgin birth can pretty much be made to believe anything is what it sounds like

have a lot of cult like behaviors and the cult leaders, in this case the politicians, take advantage of that. They may not be controlled like the people who followed Jim Jones but they are controlled.
I've lost family members to this. It is a real shame.
