(7,715 posts)Years ago, I went to a play featuring the Scopes Trial in the courthouse where the trial actually took place in Dayton/Rhea County, Tennessee.
Apparently, it still occurs (although it was cancelled in 2020 because of the pandemic....not sure about this year). If I recall, there is a festival during this time that occurs each July in Dayton commemorating the trial, and the play is one of the feature attractions.
