They are extreme republicans, they donated huge amounts to Bush's campaign, they went out to campaign for him, and the horror stories of accidents at some Home Depot stores, and their reactions to those is criminal.
One of the stories:
They had been told to guard the heavy merchandise they keep on the upper shelves, such as stoves, washers, etc. A little girl, I believe she was six years old at the time, was killed because one of those heavy boxes fell on her, the first thing that Home Depot did, while the body of the little girl was under the heavy load, was to present the parents with a waiver to sign and not implicate Home Depot for the death of their daughter. I am not sure what happened, I do believe the parents did not sign the waiver, but similar cases like this have happened at Home Depot.
I forget where I read about this, it happened a few years ago, but I know there was a list of similar court cases against Home Depot listed.
Also, the things that the Home Depot founders said during the Bush campaign were disgusting. I stopped buying at Home Depot after that.
