(113,192 posts)Perhaps try to explain to yourself the phenomenon of a Clarence Thomas, a Candace Owens, a Paris Dennard, and so many others. Exploiting others to ingratiate yourself to those in power is hardly a new phenomenon (history shows it occurring among members of many races, ethnicities, religions, and group affiliations).
