(4,660 posts)I hope that's just bluster. The respite from those sickening events has been nice. Maybe only Faux News will show clips, and we'll be spared.

(1,685 posts)I must give credit to ShowerCapBlog for that one. Probably should have noted it when I posted.
The Ferret would post ShowerCapBlog on DU periodically.
He had a host of others: Gameshow Goering, Hairplug Himmler and so on.

(2,065 posts)Of course, he didn't handle losing the 2020 election well - we all know that. And trying to primary Republican legislators who he felt were disloyal to him? Yeah, it's part and parcel of his malignant narcissist megalomaniac / autocratic streak - Mary Trump could have told you that, and probably predicted it in her next book, which is soon to come out. The really scary thing is that, for all his faults and shortcomings, Trump has excellent political instincts, and rallying and campaigning is something he's really, really good at - and he seems to have really tapped into a big part of the American zeitgeist and inspired fanatical loyalty and support in his base, at least the die hard ones - and so, he's still capable of inflicting considerable damage on the American body politic. The sad truth is that, more than any other American alive today, Donald Trump really needs to be behind bars, where he can do no harm, for the good of the country - yet prosecutors are woefully slow at closing in on him and doing anything in that department.
