1. Deeply fearful

These people are deathly afraid of the virus, but they do not understand the virus. So, to cope with their cognitive dissonance that a microscopic virus they cannot see and cannot shoot can kill them, they minimize the danger. They downplay, dismiss, and lie to themselves and others to minimize their own fear.

It's a macho, problem smashing kind of mindset, the same one that convinces them to arm up in fear of hoards of invaders who will come to their homes to take their stuff. Right, Ma and Pa Kettleburbs.

It's willful ignorance, and the days when their uninformed, uneducated, sheer ignorance is as good as our well educated, specially trained, knowledge and facts are over.

The pushback is real, and while twitter and fb give the illusion that the half wit in the back of the class can hold his own with the smartest kid is class, the sane and logical among us are quietly speaking up. 100 days in. Let's see what things look like in six months, when schools are open like normal, and low income families are lifted out of poverty, and Americans are put to work on infrastructure at $15/hr.

While I'd be wrong to bet against American stupidity, I'll hedge and bet more on Biden's vision and his ability to *Govern* for all of us, not just his voters.

2. Anyone who chooses still to believe the Big Lie

is stupid.

But there’re so many of these fools in America that I’m fearful for our future as a united nation. Both Al Gore and John Kerry had ample reason to contest their losses -- there was a load more evidence pointing towards chicanery in those elections than Flubbo had in his.

Thankfully, neither gentleman chose to cause an insurrection by challenging the results.

Flubbo (I cannot use the T word anymore, my loathing for the fat ass clown runs too deep) -- did cause and incite an insurrection, because he cares not a damn about this country.

Similarly, every elected Republican who refuses to accept Joe Biden as President -- despite the evidence that his elections was, as the DHS noted, probably the cleanest in history -- does not give a god damn about America. And these bastards need to be called out for it in every god damned media appearance they make:
