And it was one of the more interesting monologues. I usually post the Cold Open, but this week's wasn't political at all - just introductions of the mothers of the cast interspersed with Miley Cyrus wailing.

"Acting" doesn't come naturally to him and he was kinda stilted, but I thought he did a decent job considering - as well as most of their other hosts, anyway. And he was a good sport, had to be tough for him. And I'm wondering if any of the cast brought up any of the issues you mention with him.
