Now my state is rolling back 99% of the precautions as of Memorial Day Weekend. No mandate for masks. He will end the State of Emergency mid June. Hm, 2 weeks after Memorial Day Weekend....bet we will be seeing a surge.

I will continue, double masked and vaccinated.

10. Same here in New York, which surprised me

Last I knew, both New York and New Jersey had decided to keep the mask requirements in place for the time being - as of Monday, anyway. But I went out to a couple of stores today and employees who I see regularly told me that I didn't need to continue wearing my mask if I was vaccinated - and since I have my vaccination sticker on my jacket, they must have noticed. I told them that I can't be sure of anyone else - and kept my mask on.

Think how the front line workers felt wearing a once and done mask for over a week straight.This because Don fucked up. My niece, ICU nurse, did that for over a year before the vaccine was available. She survived 18 hour shifts, up close and personal to COVID.

Now that Im fully vaccinated I still wear a comfortable surgical mask in crowds. On the chin when I bike without others.
