8. Ha! I used to ask "How do these people get their shoes

on the right feet and get to work in the morning?" Observed when talking about a roommate I had in '78. Very smart guy, knew what was going on in the world. Could talk for hours about foreign policy and history. But get a few drinks in him? He would fall off the back of a truck and smack his face on the pavement and tell everyone he thought he must have been in a fight. He set our apartment on fire a couple of times. He would fall asleep with a ciggie in his hand. Biggest slob on the planet. "How does he get his shoes on the right feet and get to work in the morning?" became the daily comment.
