I’m putting together a retro of The Firesign Theatre shows from 1970-1971 and The National Lampoon Radio Hour (1973-1974). And it’s amazing how well The Firesign Theatre time travels but the National Lampoon Radio Hour has me wondering if it can get around the charges of mysoginy and, dareI say it, racism, in the current environment. I still think “Censorless Woman,” is hilarious but the “Chinese Fortune Head,” will definitely raise some eyebrows. There will be charges of insensitivity.

Just finished listening to the El Droog Symposium from the Firesign Radio Hour Hour from 02/08/1970. 51 years ago it was groundbreaking.
