First, republicans do not have the capacity for embarrassment, the lie without flinching, it doesn't bother them when they are caught, they will just go on defending the lie.
Second, Mike Wallace did not do enough, as often he doesn't, to make him accountable to his lie...

I keep watching these videos with these alarming titles to, up to now, be disappointed all the time.

Those who forget history etc..............

The Republicans did not back a 9/11 Commission. They opposed it. They gave it a ludicrously short time in which to do its work and completely underfunded it. The commission virtually ground to a halt because it ran out of funding. They stated that they needed secondary funding (I think they asked for $9m?) They were granted $7m. The total funding given was less than 30% of what Ken Starr was granted to investigate Bill Clinton.
Administration witnesses were deliberately awkward and not forthcoming. The FBI lied to cover up the fact that they had been aware of the hijackers and had lost track of them. The military lied about timelines. And Bush refused to testify until he was given the opportunity to speak to the commission behind closed doors, that they would have limited size and scope - and that he would not speak to them without Dick Cheney at his side.
Stop the pretence that a previous administration was more committed to the country than themselves, it just isn’t true.

Cheney must have answered most of the questions for him.

You did not forget...my bad, but worth repeating.
