Marc Lamont Hill chats with writer and director Raoul Peck about his new HBO series "Exterminate All the Brutes," which takes a historical dive into white supremacy.

"The denial I sometimes encountered was still very deep in some quarters," Peck says. "It's basically 700 years of Eurocentric history and to try to deconstruct a narrative that's taken so long to be constructed, it was a bold move."

"The only way I know how to gain your trust is basically to lay everything on the table. I have nothing to hide."

Peck has directed "I am Not Your Negro."
