And forget the "agreement" with the GOP for a non-partisan commission. It's dead.
If McCarthy and the other bums in the Republican House want to complain, ignore them. The Dems now have the go-ahead to investigate deeply and fairly on their own terms and for their own purposes. If the proceedings inevitably take the shape of a partisan campaign it will only be because the Republicans forced the Democrats hand. So, come on, Dems, do a thorough investigation, summon witnesses -- and, dammit, jail anyone who refuse to obey a lawful summons!
Gloves off, steel toed boots on. Time to kick the McCarthy House where it hurts by reminding America and the world of where these traitors and liars were on January 6th and what they have done to keep anyone from finding out how deeply into the insurrection they were and are. And lets not leave out the Big Lie and Loser-45’s efforts to sow doubt in the silly putty minds of the Fat Man’s 75,000,000 voters, let’s not drift away from the efforts being made in red states to prevent POCs from voting. The GOP has flipped us the bird so let’s play all the cards we have. Every Jan6 denier is complicit, every GOP politician who insists publicly that Biden did not win the 2020 election is also complicit in the insurrection.
The GOP has become a movement that threatens the very heart and soul of this country. It’s turned from a loyal opposition party into a mad freaking dog. Its political operatives, its Senators and Representatives, its Governors and State Legislators, have become, most of them, vile, vicious, lying traitors -- traitors to the very foundations of this country, its values, its hopes for equal justice and liberty for all. You cannot reason with them. You waste your time even trying.
Use the House investigation to display your power. Use it to mercilessly and relentlessly expose the treason at the heart of the GOP by naming names and publicly displaying evidence of its complicity in the treasonous actions of the January 6 mob. Seek grand jury indictments wherever possible, and keep the fight in the public’s eye and mind.
