... for some reason. Very funny clip overall, but my neighbors probably heard me laughing at this part:

"Please, Dr. Tenpenny! I jus' got a spot o' dropsy! Don't take me legs!"

Last weekend I was in the kitchen minding my own business, and my cast iron skillet jumped off the stove and stuck on my head. It took two neighbors and an EMT crew to get it off. Then I spent three days in the hospital, and I still have double vision and ringing in my ears. It’s a dangerous vaccine!

How many of these phone mount things are magnetic. not having to take up pocket space for a phone where it gets scratched by your keys or change, not having the weight of it pull on your clothing in unsightly ways, or have it get sweaty in your bra.. i feel like this would be a positive for most folks.

Guess the key didn’t stick when she tried it on her neck. Too bad it was such a great magic show.

I think the two-sided tape she had (previously) applied to the key must have lost its adhesive. Not ruling out her losing what was already a very feeble grip on reality. On camera. Priceless.

Meanwhile, my adopted home-town was in the national headlines this week when the state, and/or the local transit authority decided to "unplug" the rainbow lighting on the Acosta Bridge two nights ago. The lights should be back on by now, and I'm hoping that they're keeping the anti-LGBTQ idiots awake at night. At least for the next couple of nights.

From the Washington Post:

The rainbow lights on the Acosta Bridge in Jacksonville, Fla., to honor Pride Month will reportedly be turned back on following backlash after the Florida Department of Transportation deemed the color scheme “out of compliance” on Tuesday.

The Jacksonville Transportation Authority was set to light up the 1,645-foot bridge this week — Tuesday through Sunday — to celebrate the LGBTQ community but instead utilized all-blue hues Tuesday night, the agency told The Washington Post in a statement Wednesday.

“The FDOT informed the JTA that our scheduled color scheme for the Acosta Bridge is out of compliance with our existing permit,” JTA spokesman David Cawton said. “The JTA will comply accordingly.”

The move came after Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) signed a much-debated transgender girls sports ban on the first day of Pride Month and sparked immediate uproar from critics claiming he was targeting LGBTQ causes.

And Republicans in the Ohio legislature want to impeach Gov. Dewine for basically being all science-y at the height of the pandemic.
