Schiff on CNN: Trump DOJ Investigating Intel Committee Staff a "Terrible Abuse of the Rule of Law"
On Thursday, June 10, 2021, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), Chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, joined CNN's Primetime with Chris Cuomo to discuss new reporting that the Department of Justice inappropriately targeted individuals associated with the House Intelligence Committee. Schiff discussed how Trump’s politicization of the justice system and attacks on the rule of law were among his most dangerous assaults on our democracy, and called for a thorough investigation into how the former president abused the rule of law and law enforcement mechanisms for personal, political interests.
