When I moved back to NY after I got out of the Air Force, he was all over all of the tabloids and magazines. We all knew that he was just a huge vindictive blowhard - especially after he destroyed the Art Deco friezes on the Bonwit Teller building to build his Tower of Tackiness. The Metropolitan Museum of Art was going to conserve them, but tRumplethinskin didn't ant to wait the extra 2 weeks before starting demolition, so he sent in his crews with jackhammers...and then, as usual, didn't pay them what they had contracted for.

There's a ton of good reasons that he got such low vote totals in NYC in his elections.

10. He's always reinvented himself before this

First it was the rich golden boy, then it was the real estate genius, then it was the "reality" show host. He managed to keep the lights bright and the crowds growing. This is the first time he's had to deal with the lights focused on somebody else and the crowds getting smaller. There's no act to top pretending to be the president. Nothing he does from now on will come close, and he knows it.

All that remains is slow motion bankruptcy as he pays lawyers just enough to stay out of prison, with a diminishing number of flatterers around him as he finds reasons to put them onto his enemies list as he sinks farther into paranoia.

So no, I don't hate him, I pity him. I think he'd find that much worse.
