Yesterday, Lytton BC Broke The Canadian Heat Record. Not Surprisingly, Today It's On Fire.

You might have heard that Lytton BC hit 121F yesterday, the highest temperature every recorded in Canadian history. Not surprisingly, it's on fire today, together with a dozen other BC towns. Forest fires follow heat waves as fast as tax cuts for billionaires follow GOP election victories. And it's still JUNE! Forest fire season doesn't usually start until mid-July and August. I hope I'm wrong, but we could be in for a lot of smoke this summer.

We're used to the fossil fuel industry lobbying (aka BRIBING) asshole politicians to deny global warming, but maybe it's time for some of these OTHER industries, like forestry and farming, who are taking this right on the chin to start lobbying the same asshole politicians to STOP denying the effects of global warming.

Even without global warming, I've lived in several places that are really warm. And honestly, never liked them.

Global warming makes this much, much worse.

Hell on Earth. Right out of a sci-fi movie.
