Willingness To Overturn Elections Is New Normal Standard For GOP Candidates - Rachel Maddow - MSNBC

Rachel Maddow looks at the example of Senator James Lankford, who Oklahoma Republicans feel has not shown proper deference to Donald Trump's lies about the 2020 election, as well as other reporting that suggests that the most unifying issue in Republican politics is a willingness to overturn elections when the outcome doesn't favor Republicans. No plans or proposals to address the country's problems. Just grift.

Back in the day, it was important to have policies, smarts and something real to offer. But the last 4 years proves it's no longer necessary. The crazies have been unleashed and I fear that we won't be able to put them back in the bottle. My New York district is a perfect example, let alone what's still going on after the past four unbelievable years...

And integrity. Remember when that was important to voters? 😳🤯

Seems to me they are just playing on their bases fears ... people of color & wooooomen. Sick.

Who ever had more than Jimmy Carter? But his ratings took a nosedive with that comment he made in an interview about having "lusted in his heart." And look at what people are willing to vote for now! A proven liar who not only literally cheated, but has numerous accusations of rape! WTF?? What changed??

I absolutely adore him & Jimmy Carter, but that gave putin's puppets fodder to catyze their hate-focused base with fear, and it is still blazing.

That bunch needs someone to hate on. It's just how they are. Immature & not very emotionally or intellectually competent in most cases.

From their skewed perspective, a Black man as president was one step closer to a wooooman.

He really had it all, intelligence, personable, hard working, kindness, humor - the fact that we went from the best to the worst overnight is something I will never understand.

And so so so many women & men I spoke to campaigning for Hillary who would "just never vote for a woman."

Of course the hit jobs on her professionally just stoked this perspective.

Boggles my mind. 😳🤯

and reinstalling Trump** is NOT a single issue. It is EVERY issue wrapped into one. (Id "good v. evil" a single issue?)
