Trump Org Terminates CFO Weisselberg From Some Duties. Is Trump Org Setting Him Up to Take the Fall?

Multiple reports relate that Allen Weisselberg, long-time Trump Organization Chief Financial Officer, has been terminated as director and controller of one of Trump's golf resorts in Scotland. Although we don't know precisely what's behind this move, it is an important data point that sheds some light on the relationship between Weisselberg and the Trump Organization now that they are indicted together as co-defendants in a criminal case.

When prosecutors indict co-defendants together it tends to result in either the co-defendants uniting against their perceived common enemy - the prosecutors who are seeking to hold them accountable for their crimes - OR it splits the co-defendants apart and causes them to consider cutting their loses by cooperating with the prosecution. The Trump Organization terminating Weisselberg from some of his duties signals a possible fracture in the Trump Org-Weisselberg relationship.

And specifically for which of many many companies trump owns or has owned...there are a lot.

the listings tell if the Exec. is active/inactive and for how long.

Allen Weisselberg's firing for the Scottish club probably has not made it into the database yet.

Here's the interesting thing....true to mob organizations, trump keeps his kids close, and has very few other names at the exec. level.
but Weisselberg is one of them, since 1973.

We have heard that he was already dropped from the enterprises in Scotland - so what's next?? Not that it'll do much good at this late date and it makes TFG look even more guilty than he already is.

There have been several people who have dug into that club's finacials who say the only way the numbers make sense is if they are laundering money thru it.

And if that is true, what/where else is that happening???

As for his casinos, didn't they go bankrupt? In Mary Trump's book, she said that her grandfather poured money into those failing enterprises, but it didn't help. At one point, he sent his driver to buy $3 million(!) worth of chips and got into trouble because he didn't have the proper license. Previously, Trump Senior, as a landlord/developer, only made money, didn't owe a thing - but his efforts to bail his son out cost him a bundle.

And we know that he's been involved in money laundering for years. But is anyone willing to di business with him at this point - now that he's under such scrutiny? And now that his "money guy" is in jail?

but so did some other projects. It was partly the era, end of the 1980's.

the banks wanted to foreclose on everything, but it was Wilbur Ross who arranged a bankruptcy that would give trump
$450,000 A Month!!!!! to live on.
He survived and went on to more building and etc.

today, no one is interested in dealing with him, he is focused on grifting as much money as possible.
