where it rarely gets cold enough to make them die back, choking waterways and pushing out native plants.

Manatees love 'em, they're the best control known.

Perhaps they might consider edging the Indian River with those. It would be a lot prettier than what's there now.

Side note: This video is weird. It sounds like the narrator is just a screen reader voice and the photos are really a hodge podge of nothing, e.g. the smiling couple and a cheetah?
