As Speaker Pelosi vows to find the full truth and hold all accountable for what led to the January 6th riot at the Capitol, GOP leader Kevin McCarthy has made his picks for the committee investigating the insurrection. McCarthy has tapped three Republicans who voted against certifying President Biden’s election win. Four of the Republicans tapped voted against having a commission at all. I suspect Pelosi already knows how to deal with him and other rethugs. She’s so much smarter and experienced.

2. Good point. I'd bet on Speaker Pelosi to deal with this - or anything else they throw in her path.

But it is an obvious insult that McCarthy chose three members who actually denied the election outcome. It looks like he's trying to further postpone or sabotage the investigation by throwing up more impediments to a thorough investigation which has already taken way too long just to get started.
