And we've seen videos from that day, like the guy who coined the term "ordinary tourists" helping to drag heavy furniture to block the door to the room where they were holding up - while the violent rioters were smashing through windows and doors to get inside! I don't get it either!

McCarthy could earn a place in history if he did the right thing, and he knows what that is, but like so many now, he's a hypocritical coward.

It's his fault that they - and we - are in the position we are, listening to him has always made things dramatically worse. They need to wake up and realize that he'll throw any one of them under the bus. It's what he does and if they can't see this by now, they're no brighter than he is.
