As variant-driven Covid hospitalizations rise in some states at a rate that rivals pre-vaccine peaks, with most serious illness striking the unvaccinated, health and government workers are seeing new requirements to accept the vaccine. Aired on 07/26/2021.

1. I find it infuriating that people are having their surgeries or procedures

again postponed because of vaccine "hesitancy."

How about instead of denying care to people who are vaccinated and are in line for whatever procedure, we place people who have refused to be vaccinated at the end of the line for whatever treatment, including at our ERs (unless they have a medically valid reason for not seeking the shot)?

This especially shouldn't be a problem among those who think the pandemic is a hoax.

I'm only half serious about this--I know it'll never happen, amd it's a violation of medical and perhaps other ethics. And so we're fated to see our medical system again overwhelmed because of this blatant idiocy.

Like I say, infuriating.
