6. That guy is bad at business decisions. This is a marketing campaign

Designed to grab a very specific clientele - which is going to be an every shrinking minority.

In turn, he is publicly alienating everyone else. In a year or two, when things have gotten better, people (and they have long memories) will remember this guy’s stance as an asshole and anti-vaxxer and never go to his restaurant. The current targeted audience won’t remember him as pro-freedumb (they have the memory of a goldfish) and they will not reward him over time.

1.5 years and his business is done. He will blame the pandemic and the Biden economy and liberal California, etc. everyone but himself and his actions.

Id bet his online reviews are already getting hammered. And people who don’t know his backstory or anything about this publicity stunt will go elsewhere.
